10/14/2007 - the VESPA CLUB of LOS ANGELES sponsored it's 2nd Annual Disneyland Ride on Sunday, October 14, 2007. The ride started in Culver City at 10am and went through Los Angeles and north Orange County, ending up at the happiest place on Earth, picking up a secondary group of riders along the way at Maggie's Pub in Santa Fe Springs. Riders from all over LA county rode to and enjoyed the inside of the park, decked out in all of its Halloween splendor. Part of the group had lunch and drinks in downtown Disney beforehand, as well. 12/23/2006 - the VESPA CLUB of LOS ANGELES sponsored it's 1st Toy Ride to the Children's Hopsital of Los Angeles on Sunday, December 23, 2006. The ride started in Culver City at 11:30am and went to the Children's Hospital LA, where the riders donated their toys for the needy kids and were taken on a short tour of the hospital by Bettie Fernandez, Karen Wirick, and other CHLA staff members. Afterwards, riders went to NoHo Scooters where owner Mike Frankovich provided food and refreshments. We then went on a quick ride through the Hollywood Hills and Franklin Canyon before heading for home. Lots of fun for a good cause. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICTURES.

10/22/2006 - the VESPA CLUB of LOS ANGELES sponsored it's 1st Annual Disneyland Ride on Sunday, October 22, 2006. The ride started in Culver City at 9:30am and went through Los Angeles and north Orange County, ending up at the happiest place on Earth, picking up riders along the way. Riders from Los Angeles, South Bay, Orange County and San Diego all rode to and enjoyed the inside of the park, decked out in all of its Halloween splendor. Good times were had by all. 10/01/2005 - the VESPA CLUB of LOS ANGELES sponsored a Charity Relief Ride for victims of the Gulf Coast Hurricanes of 2005. This was done in association with the South Bay Scooter Club, the Westside Scooter Club, the Reflections Scooter Society, the OC Riders, the Vespastics and Lawless Street Records. The ride started in Long Beach at 2PM, went up the coast to Santa Monica (making a stop in at the Cock 'N' Bull Pub) and through the Hollywood Hills, stopping again at Kung Pao Kitty in Hollywood, then continuing and arriving at Zen Sushi restaurant in L.A. at 9PM. Good times and a raffle ensured a nice event wrap-up for a good cause! Special thanks goes out to NoHo Scooters, Vespa Sherman Oaks, Dancing Mood and Lawless Street Records for the raffle prizes!! Half of the raffle donations went to the American Red Cross, while the other half went to Scooter-Relief.org. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PICTURES.
